Willa’s First Birthday Party in Bend, Oregon

There are few things in this world more precious than a first birthday. This party was pre-civid and reminds me, as I write this mid-COVID madness, how important these gatherings are for families, especially the parents. The first year of your baby’s life is such a blur. They grow so fast, and parents work incredibly hard during those 12 months. Making it to the 1 year mark is a huge accomplishment for the whole family, but it’s also a bittersweet moment, saying goodbye to your tiny baby and looking ahead to all that is to come.

Willa’s first birthday party was a sweet celebration of all of the milestones of her first year, and an acknowledgment of all the family and friends who helped her parents succeed in their first year as a family. It was a great opportunity for the family to reunite and celebrate the little girl they love so much.
