Reynold’s Pond Maternity Session for the Zeigert Family

Andy and Michelle were close friends of my husband Tim when I met him, and have become (lucky for me) close friends to me too. It’s been so much fun going through this stage of life together. Their son Remy is just 6 months older than ours, so it’s been amazing having another family to go through COVID and talk through all the challenges of parenting with. We were so excited to learn a few months ago that our friends were expecting another baby (now we know it’s another boy!) and it was so much fun spending this time with them documenting this moment in time.

I brought Tim and Abbott with me to this session and it was so sweet to see the boys smile at each other during the session. We can’t wait until COVID is over and they can (finally) play together. It’ll be even more fun when the newest baby boy is here too.

I love how this sweet little session turned out. Can’t wait to photograph them all once baby is here!

I shot this with my new Lensbaby Edge 35. This was my very first session using the lens and I am loving the effect so far!

This is one of my favorite shots. Remy is just one, so he doesn’t take direction, really, so the fact that he wanted to show some love to his baby brother was just the sweetest.
